Our future Home- clean and affordable heat and cooking

  • Sheil Fieldhouse Red Line Room 3505 N Southport Chicago USA (map)

Join for a free workshop about state and federal incentives available for Illinois residents who transition to using clean energy in their homes.  They will discuss how switching to clean energy and replacing gas appliances with electric appliances can reduce your carbon footprint, lower energy costs, and protect your health. They will also be discussing the Clean and Affordable Buildings Ordinance - an ordinance that would create a plan to reduce building emissions in Chicago.

Reducing emissions in the places we work, play, and live is important for and beneficial to our city's climate, as well as the individual health and finances of every Chicagoan.

During their workshop participants will have the opportunity to give feedback and ask questions regarding using clean energy at home and the Clean and Affordable Buildings Ordinance.

This event is co-sponsored by: Alderman Bennett Lawson, Third Act Illinois, Citizens Utility Board (CUB), and Sierra Club Illinois
